Backyard bucks....watching him grow

I was surprised to find a buck in my backyard as it’s been a long Long time.......Just a doe and a fawn or two is all I’ve had for a few years. I got this little guy hanging out and noticed obvious growth in just a week. I am gonna try and post his growth stages and see how it goes. May have to guess If it’s the same deer on the very first pic.7A2B6984-5736-46B9-9251-A9641FDF0171.jpeg

This morning I was sitting on my deck and saw at least 4 bucks heading out for the day......one of them appeared to be a Giant! He looked to have at least 5 tines on one side and a G2 that was easily 8”+ still velvety for sure. there is a bedding area in the ditch behind my house. I have not gotten him on trail cam yet. If he hangs out, I may just HAVE TO put a stand in the back yard......deal with the neighbors later if necessary.

I will try and update each Monday.....praying to get that big boy on my cam and see what this little guy turns into.

I shot 2 big bucks in my backyard before. Whenever I saw them the last thing on my mind was neighbors. If it's legal blast it. No law on how far you have to be from another house just 50 yards from the road. Assuming you're not in the city limits

A week later this guy did not give me a very good pose but I think it’s the same deer.

I am amazed how smart such a young buck is. My backyard doe will pose all day, but this guy gives me no good shots. I moved the camera and added some beet scent I found in hopes of better luck this week.......I’ll probably scare them off! These are from last week...

Sorry they are backwards. Bottom 2 are from the 9th and the top two the 12th. This doe will pose all day. I think she likes to get her picture taken. I also really notice this am that they are eating up those vines too. CEF12CFD-A49F-4414-806A-ECD0E8048631.jpeg

Decided to move my camera and add another one at the entry spot in the back corner of my yard. Went ahead and pulled cards this am and got some noticeable growth and good photo or two.

After looking at these, I went out and cleaned all the lenses on the camera.......don’t know what this junk is making it blurry.

Nice little two year old. Hope he hangs around for you.

I've noticed on my Tasco that the lens is susceptible to fog up when there's high humidity. Doesn't bode too well for my camera that's in a creek bottom.

I wonder if he is the does kid or brother.......used to be a bunch of deer, now just these two. How old do you think she is?
