Clover

I have this in my clover and have sprayed last year with clethodim. It seems to stunt the growth but does not seem to kill it. It’s maybe little over acre of clover. I have the 26 gallon sprayer with the boom less spray head. Mix in about 20 ounces and the oil that goes with it and spray but does kill it. Any suggestions I would appreciate it.IMG_2268.jpegIMG_2275.png

Try doing a test area with the wand sprayer to see what kind of kill you get.
If that method works it could be that your boomless nozzle isn’t misting correctly.

So, did you use all of the 26 gallons and 20 ounces of clethodim on that "little over 1 acre" of clover?

It's getting ready to go to seed, so I'd do something now.

Is the clover a couple years old now?

Is that rye grass? Hard to tell from the pic.

How much over an acre? Just a little? If so, 20 ozs should have smoked it but it will take a few weeks.

Yep. Cleth takes a while to get the job done but it works. You just got to be patient.
