We planted 100 about 4 years ago - ones we bought from Hallman’s.

We have about an 85 - 90% survival rate.

Unfortunately, most are planted in semi open areas and the deer are giving them a fit.

We have one field with about 20 oaks and 10 pear trees - I would say 15 or more of these trees are severely rubbed and least one looks like it is gonna die.

I ain’t that much on shooting deer but at this point, I might shoot one out of spite!
