Back out this morning with Tom and Joseph...the 10 year old super fisherman
Today they fished something different - the spybait....and of course, the drop shot. After some quick lessons in spybait fishing....off we went. Tom jumped up on Little Joe (mini LJ) 3-0 early on....then Little Joe caught fire and tied it up.
I was targeting 25'-30' of water...mainly humps but did find some other structure/cover that the fish were sitting on.....deep roadbeds.
We pulled up on one spot and with 86 degree water....the fish were schooling on top all around us. Both stuck fish on the spybait....then the real LJ picked up his drop shot when he saw some fish on the sonar....dropped down and boated a solid spot. Blue Lily, Morning Dawn, and Sweet Rosey were the colors.
Tom and Little Joe were exchanging blows back and forth before we finally called it quits around 11:30 when Little Joe starting roasting and thinking more about the water park than the fish
Great fun again....these two are a hoot. Ended the day with 15-16 in the boat. LJ
