I have always heard that feral hogs can breed up to 2-3 times per year and that sows come into heat at all months of the year.
For 3 straight years on this property I have only seen piglets on trail cam in December.
I’m sure there are lots of factors like hunt pressure, overall numbers, etc but I’m starting to think these hogs have a single set breeding season similar to other wild animals.
Curious if anyone else has experienced this.
