How many days do you hunt a season?

In the old days, every weekend and 2 weeks vacation. When I retired, for 10 years nearly every day of the season. These days it all depends on how I'm feeling, but I'll hunt till I die. Preferably while I'm turkey hunting.

From September- mid February. Usually about 3 days a week. When Ocrober and November roll around from 5-7.

At least 1 day a week all season long, a lot of times twice, 5-7 in a row hopefully at least twice during that time. Take away the hot weeks, of course!

At least 1 day a week during firearms season here in the mountains ((except the week of Thanksgiving (usually rut), when I go every chance I get)).

I love bowhunting, but it is often just too hot and uncomfortable.

I'm with you he needs to hunt more. Think he's busy working. Planting trees or plots. Building gun ranges. Etc. Seems he enjoys others successes, possibly more than his own. Good man for sure.

We have 844 acres leased.

Jo and I own 57 that borders.

Last year, I went to the stand 2 afternoons.

Once to simply drink beer and watch a field and once to bow hunt.



Yeah, I gotta catch another gear.
