Good advice. Make them feel safe and you'll get where you need to me. Big deer know where to go and that's not to a property where does are being shot weekly.

First thing I would do if I bought land is plan to plant hard and soft mast trees like Nic said. Of course I would want to get a feel for the land and how the animals use it first. But that’s high on the list.

I planted about 16 persimmons last year and plan on planting crab apple this year with more persimmons.

We have a bunch of oaks and a decent amount of white oaks on the creeks. What else would you plant.

One non native tree that I would plant would be Kiefer pear trees. They bear well and hold fruit on into December. Deer love em.

But that`s the only non native I would plant.
