Thanks fellars, raw day in Russhville. Wind 27+ with sideways rain. Not as tough as JT, start hunting in the morning!

Not sure if this helps, but our farm there in Schuyler has cow pastures that have clover in them.

If all acorns and ag are cleaned up, this may be an option for you.

Heck, you may even have some alfalfa fields!

Good luck!!!!

Made it back home this evening and fixing to heat up some tag soup. Had a good time, almost closed the deal Thursday morning. Planned on hunting one more day, but I think we angered one of the local hunters. On our farm but close to his "green field", He sat on the field edge yesterday evening 150 yds away wearing camouflage & orange vest with shotgun. Needless to say no deer, then at last light fires a round over our blind. So we pack up & come home, still had a Great hunt and can't wait till November!

Very poor showing in his part.

Shame some folks are such idiots.

Sounds like you had fun regardless - congrats !
