I'm looking for a good leather paddle holster for a Springfield 1911 and a S&W Shield.
Anyone own any leather paddle holsters?

There’s a couple holster makers down in the hobby section that do fine work. They’ll make you exactly what you want.

Yes, I have one of their belt holsters for my 1911, it is of good quality too. I've had it about 5 or so years. View attachment 1270976
Here's the paddle that I have..

I've carried this holster quite a bit, and it has held up well.

Also, this paddle holds the gun up "high and tight" to the hip, where some others kind of "jut out" to the side a bit too much.

Adjustable for cant, so you can put a bit of tilt in your carry if you wish.

The holster has a tension screw as well, that works pretty good.

1791 got this one right.

I'll have to go back and look at that one.
Thanks

The above holsters are very nice ! If you are looking for cheaper holsters...check Versacarry. They have some holsters that are not expensive.....just not custom !

TT Gunleather also does paddles.

I've been using one of his IWB holsters....accommodates a railed government with X300U attached. Not an easy ask....but Tim nailed it sure'nuff.

Super quality and fairly quick.

Made in Columbia, South Carolina. They also do paddles.

This one is one I use when I carry a P229 or P226.

Another Warbird Leather holster. Again, Paul also does paddles. He has a large selection of holster styles to choose from. He does really solid work.

This one is for a Hi Power / Springfield SA-35.
