Rainy Saturday Fixins

Me and Jesse James wanted HB steaks yesterday, but he was running a fever all day and I never got around to cooking. So, this morning I figured I'd go ahead and get the ball rolling. I dont know what the rest of the fixins will be, but I got the HB steaks simmerin in homemade gravy already.

Well it's just green beans and a touch of 57. I cooked myself some fresh flathead as well, but 2 of the boys ate it all.

Finished off the leftovers from last night, but then got the hankering for something sweet, mixed berry cobbler it was.

Neighbor brought me some hard ciders from NY to try, the apple & pear was really good

My son provided our supper tonight, 14hr smoked Boston butt, and some mighty fine rancho beans he whipped up, the game didn't go as hoped, but we had some good food.

I ain't got no pictures to post but yestdiddy we had fried Catfish and Shrimp along with freshly made slaw boiled potatoes and fried cornbread. It was good. Washed down with sweet tea.
