Redeye Bass in the Tallapossa

Never been fishing there Harry, but a kayak and fly rod combo makes for some great days on the water.

The Tallapoosa below Wedowee is my home water. I have fished it all my life. Lots of Bass willing to strike a fly, there are LM. Spots and Redeye. The main forage is the Spot tail minnow and crawfish. Be careful below Wedowee, the water releases can be dramatic and dangerous. They have also been fairly continuous of late. There is also a problem with the phone line for water releases, all I get is a busy signal, been that way for weeks and no one at Alabama Power has an explanation. 800-lakes-11
