Registration?

So its pretty obvious that I'm looking into getting a Kayak, out all the research I've been doing on kayak brands, I didn't know if I need registration #'s on the kayak. In my search for kayaks I've seen some used listings on CL and seen that they made mention of "registration" being good through 2021. So when I get my kayak, will I need to get it registered and if so where do I go to do that? Local Tag/Tax accessor's office?

Only if you put a motor of any kind on it. The information is very easy to look up. Same DNR-WRD website, click on boating.

Yep, any motor including an electric trolling motor requires you getting it registered.
