Got in the stand at 515 and let the arrow fly at 525. Had 4 came in and picked the biggest one. Shot was 44 yards. As soon as i let it fly she step forward and i hit her WAY back. Thats the bad thing about taking long shots. But the muzzy did its job and she went 60 yards.

I'm not sure way folks say stuff like that. The deer live here, their more use to the temps than we are.

What choice does a deer or other animal have than to keep doing his routine despite the weather.

Was hot as hades in Toombs County Saturday afternoon, but saw 6 and put this one down from 12 yards at a pretty steep angle right at 7. Paralyzed her instantly but fortunately got enough so that she bled out quick. Checked her in on the app and everything.

I`ve watched deer feed in a peanut field in the middle of the day during Dog Days when it was 100+ degrees and humidity out of sight. Some of em big bucks too.
