I knew a guy in college that sold neon beer signs for good money. He would wear white overalls, a hardhat, and carry a ladder into Kroger and take down their neon signs and walk right out the door. He said no one ever said a word to him.

I know an electrician that walks around during plant outages carrying a piece of bent conduit. Nobody questions or bothers him.
