It’s a thick one, shooting on a bipod. Think I was solid. Old timer benchrest guy at the range says horizontal stringing is seating depth and vertical stringing is charge... I’ve read that but don’t know for sure. Would love that group from a gas gun if it weren’t strung in a line. I’m close tho.

was your bipod loaded or unloaded? inconsistent loading of the bipod could cause it. If your SD isn't good and you have ruled out other tuning issues maybe more powder could bring it in. I don't think it's velocity changes from heat since it seems to be falling.

I normally shoot unloaded but our benches are rough... noticed the bipod setting up in one of the slots between boards and was maybe not consistent on the forward pressure. Maybe I’ll load up another 10 at that charge and a few more with a touch more powder and shoot from that Caldwell rest you made me buy?

I spent more on replacement bags than I did on the rest
those trigger clamps and a 1X2 make a nice portable bipod loading device
remember...just change one thing at a time
