Catalooche rattler

Rode up Friday night to Cherokee and spent the day with my Dad for his birthday. We rode over to about one of our favorite places. I didn't take a bunch of pictures but couldn't resist getting a couple pictures of this timber rattler.

Beautiful snake! You don't see nearly as many of them over there now since the Russian boars have gotten thicker. Where was he at?

He was about 75 yards from the barn at the Palmer house.
