Chatuge report

Fished from 6/11-17 with my son and stepson. Much better results. Weather still sucked most of the trip but got consistent last few days. Averaged 12-15 fish per day. Swimbait bite was hot first three days then fell off. Topwater bite picked up on day 4 and stayed on all day last few days. Caught spots and hybrids late morning thru mid day. Fish are on long points. Still an early bite , but much better from 8-11am.

It's tough right now for sure. Monday night tournament 6-10pm this week had 19 boats and not a single boat came back with a limit, and I think only 1 boat had 4 fish.

Dang, thats crazy! We caught them really good on monday afternoon. Didnt fish any in the evenings tho. Guess they like the bright sun for topwater on the main lake.

Seems most of my pics are too large to post.
You can use free photo editor (I use IrfanView 64) to resize to 1000 x 750 pixels (landscape), auto-adjust color, and save the smaller copy with a new name as .jpg (leave original unchanged). Also, you can rotate pic if needed. Takes only a minute or so per picture. This will give you really good detail at a much smaller file size @ 500 kB perfect for web. HTH
