Former Brave Ron Gant

Found out today that my son's assistant coach is former Braves player Ron Gant.

It did seem to me that he knew a lot more about baseball than the average person.

By the way, Pro Coach or not, we got beat today 7 to 9.

Woodstock

We play at Hobgood park in Woodstock GA. The name of his team is the Devil Rays and it's weird because the team that beat us was the Braves. I haven't spoken with him but he seems to be real good with the kids.

It's funny now that I know who he is, you kinda act different around him whereas before he was just another Dad.

9-10 year olds

His son seems to be a pretty good ball player and if it you didn't know it, he seems just like another dad. I should have picked up on the fact he was driving an Escalade with the big rims and his drop dead gordeus blonde wife.

Can you imagine having the team party at his mansion? That would be too cool.
