I have NEVER had a pair of this brand of boots...

Best decision I made was to start wearing Lacrosse Grange originals. Comfortable, hold up to abuse and cost me $80. If it’s cold, I’ll switch to some insulated leather boots but most of the season, the Grange are on my feet.
^ this for me too! Been wearing them for over 25 years. Last me about 5 years and are very comfortable. When super cold out, I use a pair of boot blankets once in the stand. Wish they were the price they were 25 years ago!

Got a pair of Lacrosse Aerohead Snakeboots last season. My new favorite for sure!
My aeroheads only lasted one and a half seasons before leaking where the neoprene upper meets the rubber lower. I put some miles on them though. Trying some of the alpha snake boots this go round. I’ve been eyeballing dryshod snake boots and the mucks if the alphas don’t hold up.

I bought a pair of Lacross alpha burley's back in 13 for My trips to Canda and the mid west , Ive only worn them about 10 days a year because they are too insulated for warm southern temps but they have been great. I had a pair of Rocky corn stalkers do the same thing after only 2 seasons.

Also, keep rubber boots stored in area without a lot of heat. Back of the truck is a no no

None of them are really all that outstanding including the lacrosse concerning waterproof boots. If it wasn't for the snake protection, then I'd wear the walmart brand rubber boots like the local commercial fishermen/crabbers.

Only brand of rubber boots well made are Le Chameau. they aint cheap either
Now i looked these up and they are high, but not a ton more than mucks. So the question is do they last? Like you work in them all day and expect them to hold up kinda last.

I don't work in mine but so a lot of hunting in them. Both deer and turkey, they endure a good bit of swamp walking in the spring. I have had mine for about 5 years.

After many years of wearing lace-up Danner Pronghorns, decided to go with a pair of slip on Muck snake boots. Just came in today.

Very comfortable out of the box. Will see how they hold up as the season progresses.

I had the Lacrosse ones to the right. I wore them out in 4 years of hard use. Replaced them with a new pair and noticed a small crack in the rubber around the ankle. I called Lacrosse and they replaced them for me with the newest model ($220) since that model is discontinued. The newer model is much bulkier but they are more comfortable than my shoes. Pretty happy so far.

Those are mine. Thanks. I'll remember that if I have a problem.

I know you weren`t talking to me, but I`ve been hunting swamps for over 60 years and there is nor a pair of rubber boots made that I would put up against a big diamondback. I know what those things can do.

Ya`lls mileage might vary, but I trust my instincts and experience more.

Where I live you better watch where you step everywhere. Within 15 steps of my front door I have caught diamondbacks, canebrakes, cottonmouths, and copperheads. I`ve lost count of the nonvenomous ones. I prefer them over people, subdivisions, yankees, and millinienalls, or whatever those little idiots call themselves.

The rubber cracking around the ankles must be a common problem. They offered me a rubber conditioner for free. I believe it is the one they sell on their website. It should be in next week.

Them too. Truth be known I`m turning into the recluse that my Grandfather was.
A wealth of knowledge gets hidden away though Nic. Maybe you should write a book about your adventures. If not for the general public then I'm sure your family would enjoy reading it.
