AMERICAN WARRIOR
They went with songs to the battle, they were young,
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted;
They fell with their faces to the foe.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

My dog handlers deployed as individuals, saved a lot of lives between finding IEDs, weapon caches or tracking them down.

Will be back later when I'm clear

My friends died while training for battle. A routine training mission out of Little Rock AFB, they had gotten a late start. As they wheeled the C-130 aircraft around 180 degrees to join on the end of the formation the upper wing broke off, all 7 were lost as they crashed near Judsonia, AR.

Circumstances:
The crew departed Little Rock-Jacksonville AFB for a local training mission. En route, the crew reduced his altitude from 3,000 to 2,000 feet to join four other aircraft in formation when control was lost. The airplane dove into the ground and crashed in a wooded area located near Judsonia. The aircraft was destroyed and all seven crew members were killed.

Probable cause:
Loss of control in flight after a wing failed.

Time to turn it up today for them, no lie...especially with your cookery

Bad thing is the majority has been gone since 2015, but you can do it, especially the Bragg folks

There are not enough words to express the gratitude that every American does, or should have, for the unselfless warriors that gave everything to keep this Country, and it's citizens, as a free nation and people. Godspeed!

This will be a first for me since '83 that I haven't made the trip to The Garden when I was in country, just not physically able to any more. Took this pic on Flags In Day 2019 just a hurricane was finishing passing over.
