Finished up two Damascus Kinchafoonee Hunters and I think they turned out just fine. I was blessed by a visitor yesterday who picked up two blades previously ordered. We chewed the fat, swapped lies, talked elk hunting, all while I was finishing up a Damascus Trout & Bird that had been hanging in my shop for awhile....homeless.
@Gaswamp was a hoot to hang with and he ended up with that Trout & Bird blade before he left. It was the first time I'd used Western Myal wood on a knife handle and it really popped in the sunlight. It's an incredibly dense and hard wood. I'll be using more of it.
The two Damascus Kinchafoonee blades were handled with stabilized Tasmanian Blackwood.
Thanks for stopping by Swamp! Always love visitors in my shop. That boy is a turkey killin machine.
