Oldest piece of hunting equipment

What's the oldest piece of hunting gear you own?

For me, it would be my Ruger 44 Carbine. My grandfather gave it to me a few years back. He got it back in the 80's. He traded some spearfishing equipment for it back then and now handed it to me! My vision isn't great, so I put a Leupold VX Freedom 2-7x33. Sling is original too. Other than that, all my other gear is from the last 15 years or so.

What's yours?? Let's see it!

As far as still being in use it’s the knife I started the linked thread with. I’ve had it since Christmas of 1972.

Retired guns
I have a 35 Marlin I bought in 1972

I have my Daddy’s Winchester 22 semi automatic from the 1950s

I have my Great Grandfathers 12 gauge single shot from the 1890s.

Edit to add that the 68 year old rifle toter, tractor driver, shooting lane clearer is still functional but just barely ;)

I have this same rifle but mine was made in the 1960s. My Model 12 was made in the 1940s, and I made a knife for cleaning deer that was patterned in a style that was made 5,000 years ago. Material included.

I have my uncles Winchester 1897 12 gauge and my Paps Winchester 1890 .22. I have been carrying the same sharp finger skinning knife for over 35 years, crafted in Spain.

I have a model 12 featherweight made sometime between 1958 & 1962. It was a favorite gun used by an old friend of my dads named Leo. Leo was a retired army DI and he pheasant hunted with my dad starting in the 60’s through the early 70’s until he got sick. He got cancer and sold the gun to my dad literally a week before he passed. My dad then gifted the prized gun to me in 1999. It’s one of my most treasured possessions.

I have a scent lokt suit I got from a good friend 24 years ago.. has a lot of sentimental value. Have to have it sewn recently from stitching coming out and front zipper messing up

1942 Mauser 98 remade into a sporter in .257 Roberts sometime in the 50s. And a AH Fox Sterlingworth 12ga my grandpa was given new in 1933. I use the rifle often. The shotgun for the first shot of dove season every year.

A gun is the obvious choice. What do y’all have other than that? I have a turkey vest I still use that’s 30 years old. Also have a treebark bugtamer (don’t use) about the same age
