What should the temperature be from the air coming out the vents from my home AC? Mine are 75 degrees and seems warm in the house.

Spot on.
On some of the older unit when it's 95+ outside 14 may be about the best you will get...
Filter, filter, filter, dirty coil. Start there.

It should be cooler than that.Check to see if the outdoor unit is running.

agree with everyone before me but had a similar experience not to long ago and the expansion valve sensor wasn't well insulated.

Yea. The clamp needs to be snug and directly against the suction line and wrapped with armor-flex or something comparable.
