Sun light hit the other side of the field and a doe came out
She said she didn't want it, so we shiver on

Mighty quiet on the park this morning . Not a single shot so far but wow what a beautiful morning we are blessed with today

I heard 1 shot at 0741. Almost an hour after legal shooting light. That's just weird for such a calm, cold morning. You'd think there would be shooting all over the place. Now if I was squirrel hunting.... the two that engaged all afternoon yesterday in a no holds barred grudge cage match to the death didn't finish yesterday so they've picked up where they left off this morning.

Tried this
I took a gallon bag and filled it with white oak acorns when they just hit the ground and put them in the freezer
I took about twenty out yesterday and put in sandwich bag
When I got to the stand I cut about ten in half and threw out around stand and dropped the rest
A doe just walked straight to them and ate
It worked
Now I just need a shooter to come down her trail

Had another in the woods, but couldn't see what it was
The 2 doe ran through the field into the woods, came back out and ran straight to us, stopped, blew twice, and kept running

Another one just jumped a log in front of us. Then all the fox squirrels came out

Decent buck didn’t give me a window. He was on his way to the doe buffet.

Just had 4 does come in while I’m sitting on the ground. 31 yards until they spotted me. Now only if grandpa will come see what’s going on!

Saw a nice little buck come across a pasture then casually walked in front of my truck. I could have got him if I didn’t like my truck

Saw 5 does 20 minutes ago, wind keeps swirling. Waiting on a buck

Shot fired. Goodly size doe. Acted hit immediately but ran hard out of sight. Will hold tight and go look in about an hour.

Heat wave, 25 degrees. Wind is picking up, going to give it a little longer.

Woods are getting absolutely beautiful in sw ga - leaves changed color, scrapes on the ground, and rubs on the trails - sitting in an office at ABAC.

Do get check cell cams pics occasionally...
