Thought I’d ask my trusty folks here....

Taking the fam up for a long weekend to go through the national park areas, etc - no real plans or directions.... May fish some but more so just an open ended ride up. Any helpful suggestions by anyone who frequents these parts with small children? Obviously there’s Cades Cove and such, but really looking to just hike, picnic and let the kids play around in the creeks like I did when really young...

You can go by Cherokee and maybe see some elk and then drive over the mountain to Gatlinburg with the kids

Deep creek in Bryson City is a lot of fun tubing, mostly knee to waist deep.
