Help! KT Sub 2K Gen 1 Question

Gen 1 question.
I bought it about 3 years ago. Shot a couple of 33 round mags through it and put it up. I believe at some point I closed it completely, then unfolded it. It has been on a shelf, not completely closed, for a year or so. Yesterday I closed it completely. Now I can’t unfold it. I guess it is locked. I don’t have a key. Am I going to have to scrounge up a key, or is there some work-around?
Somebody got a key I could borrow?

Try to slide the pin that's above the brass piece there back towards the brass fitting piece.

Mine sticks also, helps to wiggle the barrel while pulling the latching pin toward trigger.
