Good thing about bedded deer is you can usually dance a jig and they won't pay you any attention.

Bad thing about bedded deer is you're afraid to dance a jig (or blink) cause there's always the chance they'll pay attention.

I thought the jig might be up. Another deer to the South was blowing(no idea what at). Wind is blowing from the South so I’m not getting winded by anything.

Just yesterday I was saying how obnoxious the ducks on the pond behind me were. Man no one cares about your ducks....it's deer season!

Yeah yeah I'm getting that midday attitude. I'm fidgety and anxious, I just dropped my danged hat, it's 69 degrees and the wind is blowing a solid steady 23mph, my eyes are burning from staring a hole into the wind, my back and neck are screaming for me to eat the ibuprofen that's in my pocket, I've got 6 hours of this nonsense to go AND not only have I not seen a shooter buck, I haven't seen a deer at all since 9am.

BUT it's November, I've got a sammage and a bottle of water left and yeah I'm hunting and can't think of another place I'd rather be!
