May be a stretch, but I’m bored - anybody have growth examples from year to year?

151”. We had been in Missouri hunting for a couple weeks.
Got home and went to the club to hunt a few days. Checked cams and had a lot of daytime pics of him. No one was hunting while we were gone so he wasn’t pressured much. As usual the ladies did him in, he was trailing a doe. About a 35 yard shot. Live weight was about 240#.
He’s a stud man!!

Does did him in of course! That pressure or lack thereof seems to be so key across all of our quests!

This is a buck i named Milkshake (because he had thick bases). He was very photogenic and it followed him from a 2 year old 6 point to a 5 year old with 10 points. He proved to be smarter than i was. What fun it was chasing him.

This is an awesome series of pics and I would think this is “average” progression for a ga buck.

What was the end result?

I saw him opening afternoon of bow season of his 5th year just where i got all these pics from, but my belief is that he smelt me at just the same time i saw him and he jumped the fence 30 yards from me and slipped away from me forever. I never saw him again or got another pic of him since that day. Never heard of a neighbor killing him or getting hit by a car, so i am not sure. I am certain I saw one of his offsprings a few years later. He had the same long space between his G2 and G3 tines just like Milkshake. I was really disappointed to not be able to finish the story with him, but it is a testament to how smart they really are.

2021 pics, 2022 pics. Didn't add much but it was a great hunt and proud of him. The second, third and fourth picture he is standing in the mock scrape two Years apart and that's where he was when the Hypodermic got him..

First Buck: Big 7pt was shot and killed in 2021 he was 7YO.

Second Buck: A resident buck we’ve watched every year since 2020. We estimate him to be 5YO for the 2023-2024 season and will be on the “hit list” if he satisfies us antler wise or not. He’s been a basket 10pt for 2 years now.

Third Buck: Started as a ~120” 9pt back in 2020 and he’s grown into a monster 2022. He’s still alive I’m hoping. I’m guessing he’s 5-6YO as well.

This is awesome because the bone structure for all three seems so different to be around the same agr
