Put this mock scrape and hanging vine out after season ( didn't use Viagra ) but did pee in. ( maybe some left-over in my system ?? ) - The small buck,also peed in the scrape,after a few sniffs. - I think the doe may have thought there was some Viagra mixed in the sand, and wanted to be sure her ""Little Buck"" got him a snoot full ??? What ya' think ???

Don't see why a deer would smell this and ingest it. But what do I know.

The reason a synthetic chemical works on humans is because it mimics the chemical structure of a natural hormone/chemical our bodies produce. Our cells have receptors for the natural chemicals that viagra can also bond to. Deer produce many of the same hormones and chemicals, and they have the same receptors in their cells. It’s not a far reach to assume that the natural chemical viagra mimics is ramped up in either rutting bucks, or in does in estrus, and it definitely isn’t a far reach to assume that they could smell it and be very interested. There are many artificial scents that mimic real scents.
