I have a 6.5 CM, caught it on sale for $319 new and it is the most accurate rifle I have ever shot, stacks them.

Depends on the rounds, loves the 140 gr and ùp, tried 129 Hornady and accuracy wasn't the best.

The most common complaint with them is that they cancel orders due to "insufficient inventory" and are in general a pain to deal with. YMMV.

Everything I read makes the same complaints.

IF I SEE THAT, I WILL HAVE ONE! Mine is in .308 and loves the 165 better than the 150.

OP, sounds like a great gun to have and you should get it cheeep! Walmart carries Savage. If you call them, whoever is back there will love to talk gun prices with you.

This is one of those rifles where it may be easy to outspend the rifle via the scope.
