Tried a new spot along a rub line. Heard deer chasing..but didn’t lay eyes on anything. May be a better morning spot. Ready for this hot weather to move on..I’m tired of sweating & mosquitos

Didn't see anything this evening. We did hear a buck fight just outta sight. It was awesome to hear. Enzley said other than the hunt with the big ole buck it was his favorite hunt. He said I may sound like a sissy but I was comfortable I assured him comfort is key to remaining still a quiet during a hunt. I hope tomorrow morning is the morning for him, but nonetheless he is learning that hunting is waaaay more than killing.

Didn’t post earlier as I was in a low service area. I moved a climber mid morning to hunt the spot where I had the encounter with a good buck last week. Wind was wrong for the lock on. Nothing happened until right at dark and I had a does pop out right behind me. I went ahead and popped her. Soon as I shoot another doe popped out so I went ahead and doubled my pleasure.

Got a good sweat worked up getting them out!! Will be back in the morning. There seems to be some sign popping up. We will see what happens.
