Negative, never bought a ford. Just seen my buddies that have and their remorse. I just see the commercials. Seems like a hard advertising, large dealership

I blame most of it on the commission only/ flat rate system at dealers. I was a tech for several years, and when the crunch hit in 08/09 I went from $1,000 a week to $600. Several others my age in their late 20’s/ early thirties left it for other pastures permanently. The auto makers abuse the techs on warranty work/ recalls. I figured that if the UAW guys had good pay and retirement, so should the man doing the warranty work. Typing this, I don’t regret leaving in any way.
