Not sure but it's been in place for decades. I know it was like that in 1977 the first time I went with my dad because they wouldn't let him put his 50 h.p in the water. We had to rent one of theirs. Luckily we were headed to the gulf and the swamp was just a stopover for a day of sight seeing and fishing. And I did confirm with them that it's the entire swamp. I think it just may be because of the shallow, narrow areas they don't want idiots out there flying around and destroying the place.

Ok, just checked the googler. It was actually the Suwanee that I released it in but this is the creek I thought I was at when I released it. Now you see why I wasn't real sure about the spelling.
