And we're live!

Our first sit (of many!) Of Redemption 2014:yeah:

We are on the 40 acre Adair county farm. It's a classic Midwest funnel. I'm in the ditch stand and Bubba is in the 9pt a few hundred yards behind me and across the creek. We both have gorgeous turnip mixed plots that are full of tracks. Last year we both shot and lost bucks here :( so it's time to redeem ourselves. Although the traffic was spotty it looks better already with addition of food.

At 54 and heavy dense fog, it feels like a warm wet wool blanket is draped over head:banginghe the very light wind is negligible.

It's on people! Let's make this happen. Yall be safe in the woods and chime in anytime. This is open to any and all. The more the merrier

Its real foggy and balmy at 54 degrees....hope the big boy I wounded last year is healed and wondering around these turnips after while....its light on first 2014 LFTT from NW Missouri!!... Here we go...again

Good luck Jim and Bubba!

Been looking forward to this year's LFTT!

Just to add to the excitement. Heard my son shoot a little while ago and got this text a minute later....."Dropped her in her tracks!!!"
It does my soul good to have him love this sport like I do!

Love it Horton! Congrats to you both!

Fog is lifting and the sun that's hitting the sun is starting to warm up my left side.

My 3 does just slipped off and I'm all alone now. Car parked at road where a good crossing is. Maybe cutting off some of the deer that would normally cross. Def changed my 3 does mind. They were headed there and got to within a hundred yards of it and turned back my way

Glad to hear there enjoying those turnips bc my landowner planted about 4 small killing plots with turnips and oats on our illinois farm that looked great when we were up there a few wks ago ... Horton tell that boy congrats ... mines been going with me since he had to ride in a car seat and now he's 25 .... It's nice now bc he hangs the stands :bounce::bounce:

It's a very very warm and sunny 9am primetime.

Most of you know that in my opinion 830-930 is handsdown the best time of day to be in the woods...course that requires the deer to agree :bounce:

Someone is running a chainsaw over near bubba. I'm sure he's loving that lol
