.275 Rigby

At last, I got to pick up my m77 international .275 Rigby stainless/walnut rifle today. Always wanted a Mannlicher stocked rifle, looking forward to wringing it out a bit. My understanding is it is 1 of 250 made this year.

That is a beautiful rifle. I love the Mannlicher stock.

Ol' Karamojo Bell killed 1011 elephants with one of those, you better get busy if you're gonna catch up! :)

Just most, not all. More commonly known as the 7MMX57 Mauser.

Yep the 6.5 Swede
met a few their fate.

He was da' man, no doubt.

Still, to the OP.
That is a beautiful rifle.
IMO, can't really go wrong with a Ruger!:cheers::clap:

Thanks, the .275 Rigby is indeed the 7x57, and also the 7 mm Mauser I believe. As far as I know, the only chambering with three different names, although someone may come along with some others. I like the Rigby stamp on the barrel, it conjures up scenes of turn of the century safari's and dangerous game hunts on the African continent and Indian sub-continent.
