500s&w pistol

Anyone load for 500s&w 101/2 barrel?
I getting one in a couple weeks.
What bullet shoots good?

I don’t have a 500, but Hornady xtp mags have worked well for 454/460 S&W revolver. Speer Gold dots would be another good potential jacketed bullet. I would also look at Hunter specialties and see what they have available for cast projectiles

I sold my 10.5” X-frame .500s&w.

I couldn’t afford to feed it.

They are fun….but the .460s&w was much more economical to run.

Actually the recoil isn't that bad....not with his model of X-Frame.

Heavy, long and ported barrel.

Those X-Frame grips are really righteous, too. Lots of cushioning.

I've run a pile of rounds through one. Very surprising in it's taming abilities.

Yea the recoil is not bad with 400gr and under bullets. The 700 there little touch on everything

I had a 460 pistol bbl for the encore, it was ported, was brutal. I sold it.
