"Hunters" in Sandy Springs Make the News Again

Dang. That eliminates quite a bit of acreage. I can hunt right on the side of a road and shoot over one too.

In Roswell there are more specifics that I am certain a number of the "hunters" disobey.

Interestingly you need a permit to discharge even a BB gun in Roswell. And if you discharge without the permit then you can lose your ability to request a permit for 5 YEARS.

Local governments across the state may not pass laws that regulate hunting within their jurisdictions; however, local governments may pass ordinances that regulate the discharge of firearms within their city limits.

Interesting

Let freedom ring.
This is what happens when people become too civilized for their own good.

I’m Not taking up for the deer shooters, but thank the man above I don’t live next to her. “It coulda been me or my dog”. Give me a break.
Well, it was her property they were on. Behold the pearl-clutching all over this forum about people trespassing on deer leases that the people don't even own. This was her backyard, where she lives. People "deer hunting" at 8 PM?

I bet they were looking for a deer. One of the pics looks like it was taken from a door cam. They probably came to nock on her door and ask for permission to come through and she immediately called the cops. I agree though, if you’re a hunter in a neighborhood you need to stay out of sight and out of mind. Also, think twice about whose land your on.

Or, maybe don't try to "hunt" on 1/2 acre urban lots to begin with? A deer you shoot with a crossbow in that situation is probably going to cross the line 99% of the time.

Yeh. I don’t think it’s very wise to hunt in that environment. I was just poking at how clueless and different the woman was compared to how I grew up.

Yeah, but it is her land, and she does have a point. I grew up with people hunting wherever, no posted land, and such. I sometimes hear beagles running across my pasture and hear shotguns, and don't even go to see who it is. But I still don't want somebody I don't know running around in my backyard at night. They liable to get shot.
