Lake Weiss Drum

I saw a post by a guy on here saying he saw quite a few Drum in the Big Cedar area of the lake. I‘ve never been there but I‘m interested in looking into it if cruising/feeding drum are readily visible in the summertime.

There's drum up the shoal areas they are smaller, there's big drum down on the lake but I have caught them accidently and have no particular pattern that will work.
They like current, they like shrimp and worms is all i know.

Use a stealth presentation by pretending to bass fish with a black and blue jig around blowdowns with current. They’ll try to break your arm.

At least that’s what has always worked for me on Guntersville. ?

Oh, on Guntersville find a hump a point or creek mouth and when they pull water it’s on!
