Old eyes and trifocals don't get along with binocs very well so I got this new, very lightwt. solution to my problem. I can check out critters without having to hold up a heavy firearm. Nice smelling cedar stock and no kick as well.

Mount an old Hair brush on the fore end and it works great as a back scratcher...

Have you tried a good pair of binos without your glasses on?

I wear progressives but when I look through my binos (no glasses) I am fine.

I wear my glasses when hunting but have them on a neck lanyard and just drop them down when a/some deer come into sight.

I use a small pair of good 8/30 and they are very light.

I love your idea but carrying two rifle like devices looks awkward.

Thanks...I have tried but couldn't do any good. I leave it on a nail in my shooting house. Take it back home when season ends.
