please help

I was on the water today doing some duck hunting with my semi-auto and decided to clean it when i got home. The only problem is my spring in the magazine shot out with a long plastic piece and the black cap that holds it and I honestly do not know how it goes back in. Basically the spring and the plug flew out of my gun. Anybody got and advice to how that is supposed to go back in?

Drop the long spring in first, then the plug and install the black cap last.

Doublebarrel's got it, but be forewarned, it often is a lot easier said/written than it actually is done... Be prepared to pickup the pieces again & don't point it at a glass light fixture while reassembling...

yeah the cap was cracked, dont know how it happened but it is fixed now...
