The 1911 fits my XL glove hand great and it is just a cool gun. Sounds a lot better than saying I carry a Keltec. Plus you can get them from plain to purdy.

After reading this thread again I stopped by the gun counter when I went to town. Decided to take a look at 10mm 1911’s. Fell in love with a Kimber Super Jäger, but for $2600 it was a short romance.

Took my old Colt MK4 70 series out yesterday afternoon and fired off 58 rounds (had 8 in the mag and a box of 50). Wanted to test out this box of ammo that had lead free primers as I heard they can get light strikes sometime. Not a single hiccup. This gun you could shoot 100 rounds single handed and be fine shooting more. I could shoot this gun all day if ammo wasn’t so expensive.
