I've been using the Apex brand of tungsten shot, 3 inch 20 gauge. I bought a good bit of it a few years back it has gone up in price like everything else.

If yu keep your shots under 40yds Winchester longbeards in #5 or #6 will work fine. That federal heaveyweight was a great shell.

Any brand of TSS #9 will be what you want to start with.... They make 12 gauges obsolete for turkey hunting. They are expensive, but you only shot a couple a year or if you are like me, every few years. Sometimes even longer, LOL...

I busted the feathers off one at 75 ( bad misjudgment in an open feild and definitely an over excited rookie hunter ) but I wouldn’t hesitate to shoot one at 40

I’ve used numerous TSS loads. I just got some Foxtrot #9’s in, I’ve read lots of good things about them and Bryce responds to any questions! Hope to get the chance to see them work on a Turkey and not just paper! (Also picked up a box for my 410)
