Whatever happened with those? A couple of years ago they were expanding south from around Athens or Gainesville, but I haven't heard much more about that lately.
Well, if you live up here then you know what happened with em, cuz they are in every path, tree, bush, post, pole, gate, corner, clothes line, car window, house window, shop window, tractor, rake, broom, etc....

Looks like a horror movie.
So are they spreading south still? I saw them in Korea way back in the day, and I thought "glad we don't have these in America!" I hope they stay away from Augusta.

I didn’t see many early summer and me and some buddies was speculating that the super cold weather around Christmas had beat them out but, then about a month ago they seemed to re-appear just as strong as the last couple years. They are here to stay it seems.

I don't plan on cornering any spider that builds a web that can catch eagles.
I got one anchored to my four wheeler that I don’t use very often. I got a torch and a tractor, maybe I can get it loose.

They started showing up on my place on the SC/GA line near Elberton last year.

We have those here in the Smokies too. They are bad news. Luckily, they usually only show up for about a month or so.

Those big old assassin bugs with the cog wheel on their back will light you up, too.

I'm not seeing them either. I do a morning patrol of the yard and so far only seen 3 little ones.

Last year around this time I was killing 15-20 at a time, then coming back a day or two later and killing 15-20 more. I thought that March super cold spell (for here) had something to do with it but based on some replies on here, apparently not.
