Knob creek, Woodford, Booker's or similar and a splash of club soda, lots of different ipas, Miller lite if I dont feel like driving 35 miles to town for ipas. Prefer cans so they burn up in the fire barrel.

I almost forgot about this one. Rum and Tang. I was a youngster and I still remember the hangover.

Tonight will be a Dirty Vodka Martini to chase away the cold , But in a earlier post it was asked if anyone still drinks Gin Martini's , I have to say I've never had one so after leaving my Dentists office there's a Package Store just the other side of the intersection so I stopped in and got a small bottle of Gin to try one and if I don't I'll use it in Gin and Tonic . I'll report back on it .

So Wednesday was the Dirty Vodka Martini , Thursday was Gin Martini

The Gin was surprisingly refreshing , I liked it so I guess I will come down to what mood I'm in .

I've got a bottle of 15 year old Glenlivet single malt scotch sitting on the shelf I received at Christmas that will require testing soon . I is my winter standard .

Gone But Not Forgotten
I drink one Beefeaters and tonic a year for my wife’s entertainment. I turn beet red halfway thru the drink. Maybe raises my blood pressure........

When I was a kid after school I'd go over to my Grandparents, When my Grandfather got home from work my Grandmother would make him a "Tall" Manhattan " and some cheese and crackers, she would make me a small one and I would sit and listen to the stories of his past . Manhattan's hold a special place in my life, They transport me back to those days with my Grandfather.
If that were today my Grandparents would be jailed today
