I've got the same knife, still in the box with sheath. Got mine late 70's, early 80's. Gerber rep was in store and had one, said it was a new model. Yours is only other one I've ever seen. There heavy duty for sure.

I can’t have nice things. I left my favorite Mora Bushcraft knife at the Tray Mountain Shelter in January after an overnight. I have always thought the gerbers looked like a good value, but I have never owned one. May need to check it out.
