Running ball day

I got in a little ball making practice today. I’m kinda new at it and I had some culls go back to the pot. Made a few .530 to feed my Kibler and more .454 for my 1851 Navy Colt.

I think it’s the pre-colonial. I built it 3-4 years ago. It seems that’s what he called them back then. .54 cal flint.

I have one in .54,replaced the barrel many years ago with a Green Mountain barrel one turn in 66 inches. It is extremely accurate.

Today I enjoyed sending a few down range as much as I did making them.
