Stood up to pee and saw a buck coming in. Had. Small 6 feeding on acorns not 15 feet behind my stand for 10 mins. With a full bladder it felt like eternity. Nothing else seen in stand. Giving it a few more minutes then back to camp.

I'm back at camp. Jumped a doe in the pines on the way out.
What a beautiful day. Feel sorry for folks that dont get to enjoy stuff like this.

Yea its a bit complicated for me. My son is visiting over Christmas and we plan to hunt. My club rules allow for guests (3 days only) but the guest’s deer count against my three bucks.

Three years ago, i killed one early season and two while he was with me I could not pass on them. So this year and every year after i have been careful to give him a chance to take a buck. I dont see him much - he lives in TX
