Got deer hunting on my mind this morning.
Hope I can find my target for this year.
Need to start looking before long.

I haven't been doing any hunting the past couple years. I plan on doing some this year and catching back up on it.

I re piped my pump and sand filter Thursday, didn't like how I originally had it. Noticed the filter head was leaking, it had a crack in it. So yesterday I went to get a new one. Hayward doesn't make the same one any more. So back to home depot to get more new fittings and re pipe it again. I'm going to pull the cover next weekend when my youngest son can give me a hand with it. We have trees and I never pull it till the 1st of May.

Mine leak for a few days then quit usually.
I noticed a lot of stuff floating on top yesterday.
I put the cover on last night. That electric cover is nice.
It will be 3 more weeks until it's warm enough to use it but I get antsy.

Also @Batjack don’t wear them if your Dr doesn’t ok. Cutting down on circulation is not normally a good idea.

I believe I'm gonna go rustle up a couple of steaks to grill this evening. Maybe do some stuffed mushrooms as well. It seems like that kinda day.

We are near the Vernon River. It looks a mite different than the head waters of the Alcovy.

Well I’m heading on out back and start on cleaning up around the WOTP and yards.

Yes Sir. The house is a buzzing here. 6 people and two dogs. (Only one of which knows it is a dog.
First shooting event is 9 am
