Had a good week at Piedmont but couldn't connect. I could have killed a jake but passed (maybe shouldn't have). Called one in that was close enough to hear his wings drag the ground when he was strutting but was in some thick stuff and never saw him. It's been that kind of year so far.

Well I finished up in Ga this morning

Thats number 4 for me. (one in florida) It's been an awesome year. Thats the 7th I've seen die and 10th I've seen shot at. I guess I'm a full time cameraman/caller now

I am still working guys, hunted after the rain this afternoon. I will be hunting until season ends. Most afternoons and weekend mornings.


I can't get another one to gobble. I am trying to ambush one now,
