Any Knife Collectors?

I didn’t get the sharp finger, but bought the one that came out with it. I forget the name, but this one is about 34-35 years old I guessimage.jpg. I just cleaned it up the other day.I’m thinking it was called the drop point hunter or something similar.

I started collecting Remington Bullet knives when they had an annual knife each year. The first year they were in a clam shell case 1982 and had a very soft silk liner. Over the years I would buy them in boxes of 6 and have Christmas and birthday presents ready to go. Kinda fell off in the 90's and have not added any in a while. Back then I went to gun and knife shows and would pick up a few. Have not been to a show in years and wonder if any collectors have seen these knives now?

Here's two more, the old combat knife has been a workhorse, I carried it backcountry camping, and its been with me on a lot of woods running. I picked up the TOPS BOB knife a few years ago and I really like it, not too big, and its heavy enough for hard camp use. I'll try to post some pics of my favorite hunting knives when I can. I'm like a lot of ya'll, not knife poor. 20230203_080347.jpg

Some of y'all might remember Raleigh Tabor aka sharpeblades. I was his mailman when he was making custom knives

I've got a sharp blades knife somewhere around here. It's a neck knife and has broken down 4 deer, 2 of which were good bucks way back on public land. That's one of my favorite little knives I own.

Who collects knives, has a favorite hunting knife or every day carry/pocket knife??
I like all types and brands.
Post some up with stories when you have the time.

My wife got me two for our recent anniversary. Both are heavy machete/chopping knives.
One is WWII era. The other has been around since WWII in various forms and is made fairly locally to me.

I have a ton of Old Timers and Buck knives. I love knives. Every time I get near Gatlinburg I hit Knifeworks in Sevierville.

I don’t have anything of real value other than a handful that belonged to my Dad - sentimental value.

Still use an Old Timer that Dad bought me on that same / similar frame in 1982. It’s faded but it’ll still gut a deer.

I bought all 3 of my Grandkids the same knife and had their names engraved in them.

I'm not really a collector but this little MASTER Knife Works Jaguar is the sharpest out of the box knife I've ever seen. It handles great too.
